Panasonic announces the full 2022 lineup of OLED and LCD TVs – Sound and Vision – News

Panasonic has announced its full 2022 lineup of OLED and LCD TVs. The company will introduce five new OLED TVs and several LCD TVs with screen diagonals from 42 to 77 inches. Pricing and release dates have not been announced.

Panasonic previously shared details about This year’s highest rated OLED TV, LZ2000. The company is now also revealing its other 2022 OLED models in a press release. For example, the company will also launch the LZ1500 this year. According to Panasonic, the LZ2000 and LZ1500 will have a “Master OLED Pro” panel, which Panasonic claims has better color reproduction.

The LZ1500 comes with a screen diagonal of up to 65 inches, while the LZ2000 will also be available in a 77-inch model. The Panasonic LZ2000 should offer a better integrated audio system with speakers that are directed forward, forward, and upward.

The manufacturer also comes with three other OLED TVs. The LZ1000 will have a “Master OLED” panel and will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes. The LZ980 and LZ800 get a regular OLED panel and come in 65″, 55″, 48″ and 42″ diameters. All TVs in Panasonic’s OLED range will receive HDMI 2.1 connections and support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.

There will also be support for Movie Maker mode, Netflix Adaptive Calibrated mode and Dolby Vision IQ. All OLED models offer 4k120 support and a variable refresh rate. Panasonic introduces the game console functionality. This is an overlay where users can easily change game related settings.

Panasonic’s LCD TV series consists of the LX940 and LX800. Both models will be available in screen diameters from 43″ to 87″. LX940 will get better soc for image processing. These TVs also get 4k120 support via HDMI 2.1 and a variable refresh rate. The panels are also different from each other, models with a higher position achieve higher brightness.
