Smartphone manufacturer OPPO has announced three Reno9 smartphones. Reno9 Pro+ is equipped with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc, Reno9 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G soc and Reno9 Pro is MediaTek Dimensity 8100.

OPPO Reno9 Pro+ It has a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. This device has a 4700mAh battery that can be charged at a maximum of 80W. In addition, the Pro+ has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc. It has 16GB of memory and up to 512GB of storage.

The device has a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra wide angle sensor field of view 120 degrees. There is also a 2MP depth sensor. A 32MP selfie camera is built into a hole in the screen. The device is also equipped with MariSilicon X-npu, which should provide improved 4K night photos and HDR video recordings.

Reno9 Pro + will be available in China from December 2 in black, gold and mint green. The suggested retail price of the phone is 4,000 yuan, which is around 535 euros. The device has 16 GB of memory and there is a storage option of 256 GB and 512 GB. The device runs ColorOS 13 which is based on Android 13.

OPPO also delivers Reno9 Pro. This device has the same 6.7 inch AMOLED display as the Reno9 Pro+. The device is also equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 8100-soc, there is a choice of 8GB, 12GB, 256 and 512GB of RAM and a 4500mAh battery with a 67W charging capacity. This device also has 16GB memory and a maximum storage of 512GB.

The back of the Reno9 Pro is similar to the back of the Reno8, but in this case the entire camera island does not protrude, but only the lenses. The camera island features a 50MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle sensor with a 112-degree field of view, and a 32MP front camera. The phone is available in black and gold pink gradient. Its suggested retail price is 3,800 yuan, or about 510 euros.

Ordinary OPPO Reno9 It has the same design as the Reno9 Pro but uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G-soc and comes with up to 12GB of memory. This device also has a different camera setup, consisting of a 64MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Reno9 weighs 174g and has a thickness of 7.2mm, excluding the cameras. The phone comes with the same color options as the Reno9 Pro, as well as a red option. OPPO Reno9 starts with a suggested retail price of 2,500 yuan, which translates to around 335 euros.

It is not clear if the Reno9 series will eventually also be released in Europe. Previous Reno phones arrived in Europe later. OPPO has not yet released any information about it. Tweakers have questions about this at OPPO.
