OnLeaks shared Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 renders and dimensions with SmartPrix. When folded, the thickness of the phone will be 13.4 mm. This makes it much thinner than the Fold4.

Renderings show that a change has been made to the hinge. It is no longer protruding slightly, which may ensure that the phone can be sealed better. Besides the thickness when closed, the dimensions of the device are not much different compared to the Tall 4: 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3 mm when unfolded, and 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.4 mm when folded. For Fold4, it measures 155.1 x 130.1 x 6.3mm and 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2-15.8mm respectively. The screen diagonal of 7.6 inches also remains the same.

The cameras on the back have undergone an obvious change. This is now on Camera Island. In addition, the Flash has been moved. This used to be located below the Fold4’s three cameras, but is now mounted next to the camera island.

Samsung has released its foldable phones in August every year in recent years. It is not known if that will happen again this year. SmartPrix expects the phone to appear a little earlier this year. Samsung itself has yet to announce anything about the successor to the Fold4.
