MMD introduces four 4K monitors in Philips E1 series – Computer – News

MMD presents four new Philips monitors in its E1 series. These are three 27-inch models and one 32-inch model, all with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. The reviewers recommended retail prices between 249 and 319 euros.

All three 27-inch variants feature an IPS panel and similar specs. That includes a 3840 x 2160 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 350 cd/m2 brightness, and Adaptive Sync support. Additionally, the monitors have an advertised 4ms GTG response time, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection.

The cheaper alternative is 27E1N1800AIt costs €249 and comes with a non-height adjustable monitor base. The middle model, 27E1N1800AEIt has a height-adjustable stand, but otherwise looks identical. This model will be available for €259.

the 27E1N1900AE It is in turn the most expensive model, with a suggested retail price of €319. This variant also has a height-adjustable monitor arm, and also gets a USB 3.0 Type-C port, with support for power delivery up to 65W. This USB-C connection can also be used in DisplayPort alt mode, allowing the monitor to charge a laptop and receive an image signal from the same laptop using a single USB cable.

The MMD also comes with a larger 32-inch screen, Called 32E1N1800LAThis also has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, but it has a VA panel. Adaptive Sync is also not mentioned on the monitor’s specs page. It also has a 60Hz refresh rate, though the brightness is lower at 300 cd/m2. The monitor’s base is also not height adjustable. This 32-inch monitor is priced at €299.
