Harkema – St vd Brink Transport is proud to announce the acquisition of the Harkema road transport company on Saturday, July 6. The official signing of the acquisition took place on Friday, July 5, 2024. The acquisition is retroactive to January 1, 2024.
It represents a milestone in the growth and diversity of our organization.
In safe hands
The land transport company, a well-known transport company in Harkima, came our way.
The feeling was good right away. The Frisian company has fifty employees, forty towing units and ten charter aircraft on the road every day.
Land transport owner Hennie Dijkstra is happy that the land transport is in good hands. “St vd Brink has a good reputation in the market and this image has been confirmed by Bremer Transport, with whom we have been working for a long time. After deciding that this was the right time to transfer the land transport, I chose St vd Brink. Land transport deserves to end up in good hands and that is why I contacted Alex van den Brink. I am very happy that we have reached an agreement
And I will remain associated with land transport. Here I will be partly responsible.
“It remains for business and relationship management,” says Henny Dijkstra.
Moving forward together
The acquisition of land transport is a strategic option that fits into St vd Brink’s growth strategy to grow within specific transport specialties.
“We strongly believe in the power of cooperation and see the integration of road transport and the additional site in Harkema as a significant expansion of our activities. Together we can serve our customers even better and seize new opportunities. In addition, this strengthens our position in the North of the Netherlands, where we are also present with our company Bremer Transport,” says Alex van den Brink, Managing Director of St vd Brink.
Strengthen the position
“With road transport as part of the St vd Brink Group, there are opportunities to further expand and improve our range of services in the field of construction transport and air-conditioned transport. The combined expertise and experience of both companies, or the joining of forces, strengthens their position in the market.
