Minisforum announces a new mini PC in the EliteMini series. The EliteMini CR50 gets an AMD 4700S chip with 16GB of GDDR6 memory and a Radeon RX 550 video card. Suggested retail price for the mini PC is 669 euros for the non-SSD variant.
Minisforum announces EliteMini CR50 On his website. the user AMD 4700SThe -soc lacks the Ryzen brand name and relies on flawed PlayStation 5 chips. The 4700S thus has eight Zen 2 cores with a 4.0GHz boost clock and 16GB GDDR6 memory.
The slide is delivered on a development board, which features a PCIe x16 slot, although it only supports a limited PCIe 2.0 x4 signal. The Minisforum CR50 will receive a Radeon RX 550 video card, which is based on Polaris architecture.
The EliteMini CR50 can be supplied without storage, but it can also be equipped with a 2.5-inch 256GB or 512GB SSD. The system does not support M.2 drives. Furthermore, the CR50 gets Gigabit Ethernet, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector and four USB 2.0 connectors, and the device also gets an HDMI 2.0 connector, a DVI port, and supports FreeSync.
Minisforum offers the EliteMini CR50 without SSD for €669, excluding import tax. The variant with 256 GB storage costs 709 euros and the version with 512 GB SSD costs 749 euros. The PC is shipped from China.
