Microsoft unveils its AI vision for Windows 11 and Surface laptops on May 20 – Computer – News

Microsoft will host an event on May 20, where CEO Satya Nadella will discuss the company’s vision for artificial intelligence, both in terms of hardware and software. Consumer versions of the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 are also reportedly appearing.

Writes the edge Insiders say the focus of the event will be on upcoming Surface products and changes in Windows related to artificial intelligence. Although the tech giant will hold its Surface event for the business market later this week, Microsoft is expected to delve into consumer versions of the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 during the event in May, and the event will not be broadcast live. But it is only physically accessible to journalists.

Surface laptops run on the latest version of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Neural processing units to accelerate AI tasks in Windows 11. The event will also highlight Microsoft’s other AI efforts, including Copilot. The company recently released its Copilot Pro subscription, which gives users access to GPT 4 Turbo, DALL-E 3, and Microsoft Office integration.
