Intel released the Arc A580. This budget video card for desktop computers has a G10 GPU with 24Xe and a TBP of 185 watts. Versions were released from three manufacturers, and the card sold for $179.
Three models of the Intel Arc A580 were released. These are from ASRock, Gunnir, and Sparkle. These are low- and mid-spec models for gamers who should achieve at least 1080p resolution. The cards have 24 Xe cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, and a memory bandwidth of 512 GB/s. The cards also contain 24 ray tracing modules and 384 XMX engines. The cards have a total power of 185 watts. The cards have an official clock speed of 1.7GHz.
Benchmarks released by Intel itself show that the card performs better than the similar RTX 3050 and RX 6600. First reviews of the model from TechPowerUp, among others It seems to support this conclusion.
The GPU costs $179. European prices are not yet known, but converted to euros including VAT, it would amount to €204. Previously, rumors emerged that the card should cost between 189 and 245 euros. This appears to make the A580 a few tens of euros cheaper than the Arc A750, which is a better model that can now be purchased for just over €260. This model has four additional Xe cores and a base clock speed of 2.05 GHz.
