It was the third time de Brigg, 47, had presented for the NPO’s New Year’s Eve conference. She did so in 2016 and 2019. Among other things, the comedian said that as a returning guest, she never had to deal with abusive behavior in The world is moving forward. She also addressed other celebrities who have been in the news for misconduct in the past year, including Lil Klein and Glennis Grace.
At the end of the show, she shared the stage with Russian ballerina Olga Smirnova, who fled her country in March 2022 because of the war in Ukraine.
