Huawei announced an event to showcase the P60 and Mate X3 phones. The manufacturer will make this announcement in the Chinese capital, Beijing. The P60 will be Huawei’s new high-end phone, and the Mate X3 will be the next foldable smartphone.
The event will take place next Thursday at 7:30 am Dutch time, According to the invitation. Huawei itself mentions the names of the P60 and Mate X3 in the accompanying text. The Predecessor P50 was also released in the Netherlands some time after the Chinese release. Mate X2 has not yet been released in the Netherlands and Belgium.
The P60 Pro has been rumored for quite some time now. It will once again have a depth sensor on the front, a function that was missing on the P50 Pro two years ago. It was on the P40 Pro for 2020. The phone will have a 50MP sensor for the primary camera, a 50MP sensor for the ultra-wide camera and a 64MP camera with 3.5x zoom compared to the primary camera.
Since the US trade ban in 2019, Huawei phones have been without Google services and 5G. Huawei supplies the newer phones with 4G versions of Qualcomm socs. As a result, the brand has lost a lot of market share in the Netherlands and Belgium in recent years.
