Gerard Sanderink has been suspended as CEO of construction firm Strukton and engineering firm Oranjewoud with immediate effect. that reports Strukton on its website. The Supervisory Board will immediately assume management, in its own words for the benefit of the companies, employees and other stakeholders.

Last year it was announced that Sandrink, along with former members of Strukton’s board, had been charged with bribery in a project in Saudi Arabia. Whether that played a role in this decision is unknown.

Sandrink’s credibility is regularly discredited, which was also stated in Structon’s press release: “The Supervisory Board reached this decision after a period of incidents involving Sandrink.”

The judge kicked him out

The organizers point out, among other things, the drama surrounding IT company Centric. There, the court dismissed Sandrink as chairman of the board some time ago. The Public Prosecution had requested that in an exceptional request. Centric provides critical IT services in the Netherlands, as well as to a number of public and government organizations.

Sanderink has also been frequently in the news due to all sorts of legal action against his ex Brigitte van Egten, who also worked for Centric. He also involved the company in this conflict, after which three directors resigned. After that, his relationship with Ryan van Rijbroek frequently appeared in the news. She pretends to be an internet expert.
