Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep appears as a short standalone game. It costs ten euros for consoles and on Steam and can be claimed for free on the Epic Games Store this week. Originally a DLC released in 2013 for Borderlands 2.
The standalone version is called Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure. According to Gearbox, the expansion is popular with fans and has been rated by critics as the best DLC for Borderlands 2. Assault on Dragon Keep tells the introductory story of the character Tiny Tina, who plays the Bunker Master in the so-called badass game Bunkers. Players can join it in a fantasy world with castles, dungeons and magical forests.
According to Randy Pitchford, Gearbox co-founder and producer of Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep, DLC is “one of the most important pieces of content” the studio has ever created. According to Pitchford, the studio has introduced a new Borderlands genre, with new gameplay and a new way of telling stories.
The standalone version of Dragon Keep is available for Xbox One and Playstation 4. The console versions also work on new consoles from Microsoft and Sony, but are not specifically designed for that. The PC version can be claimed for free on the Epic Games Store until November 16. The game is also on Steam, but it costs ten euros there, just like the console versions.
Tiny Tina Wonderlands will be released on March 25, 2022
The main character Tiny Tina will also get her own game; This is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the title coming out on March 25, 2022. With the old DLC releasing separately, the makers of the game probably want to draw attention to that new game, which was previously announced. The new game is coming to consoles and PC. The PC version will be available exclusively on the Epic Games Store for a limited time.
