Fairbuds earplugs are equipped with 11mm drivers. They also have active noise cancellation Environmental noise cancellation. The latter function only blocks out ambient noise, making it easier for users to make phone calls, for example, the manufacturer claims.

Fairphone also says that the Fairbuds are equipped with six built-in microphones, which are used, among other things, for noise cancellation. It is also possible to connect two devices simultaneously via Bluetooth via multiple points. According to Fairphone, the earbuds can be used for up to 26 hours with the charging case.

The left and right earplugs also have touch surfaces, for example to control music. The earbuds will be available with an app for iOS and Android, which allows users to update the firmware and change EQ settings.

This is not the first time Fairphone has launched an audio product. The company introduced the Fairbuds XL last year. Over-ear headphones are easy to repair, just like the new Fairbuds. The price of these headphones is 249 euros.
