Presley died in 1977, but there is still a lot of interest in the singer around the world. With more than 500 million records sold, Presley is one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Two years ago, a film was released about Presley’s life. In 2018, Presley received the Medal of Freedom, the highest honor a sitting US president can bestow on a citizen.

The makers of the hologram hope to reach a new generation as well as people who have been fans of it for some time. The show will be a “joyful celebration of Elvis’ life, transporting visitors from Mississippi to Las Vegas,” according to the creators.
