The large-scale musical about Antje, the woman who became famous at Wirt Station at the beginning of the last century by selling mini pies, is set in the periods 1913 to 1920 and the present. The success of the musical has already been widely reported in the press. Many enjoyed the massive production, but in addition to the pies, Einderhof was secretly able to make a nice contribution to the historical scene.

In April 2023, Antje had already contacted Anya van der Heijden, a volunteer at the Open Air Museum, for expert advice regarding what clothes the actors should wear. This is mainly about designing all the costumes for the time period in which the musical is set. However, they were not limited to just advice, they were also asked if the costumes could be delivered. Since Anja herself does not have those numbers of suitable costumes in stock, it is up to the costume group volunteers.Your evils‘ From the Inderhof Open Air Museum to lend a helping hand.
Together with these ladies, Els Teeuwen, Lies Loijen, Maria Gielen, Katalin Gerits, Truus Vaes, Toos Loijen and Marjo Hermans, many hours were invested on a volunteer basis in the manufacture and assembly of all the costumes. In the end, everything was finished off with costume design with all kinds of accessories. Over one hundred costumes for the musical were made available at the Eynderhoof Open Air Museum. Not only are the original clothes perfectly suited to the time in which the musical will take place, but also the shoes, clogs, hats, jewelry, furs, and gloves that accompany them. In addition, the Enderhof Open Air Museum has many features. This includes various carts, wheelbarrows and all kinds of other props. Einderhof has been an important registration site, in the past, for one of the event’s sponsors.
The beautiful result was seen for the first time last weekend on the stage proper outside the station in Vert. The first reviews from the audience are very positive.
