Bass and Ad van Toor selected material for the documentary from their own archives. The film will take a look at the long and varied careers of brothers Bass (age 88) and Aad (age 81) van Toor. The documentary naturally highlights the success they achieved as a duo of Pasi and Adrian.
There will also be footage of their time in The Croxons, the stunt duo with whom they traveled the world in the 1950s and 1960s. The film also contains quotes from conversations the brothers recorded in recent years about their careers. The robot Robin also plays a role.
In addition, prominent figures from the world of culture speak about the importance of the work of Bass and Ad van Toor. Paul De Leeuw and Geert Verhulst, among others, contributed to the documentary.

Earlier this year work on a documentary was announced, but the project has not yet been purchased by the channel. It was then also revealed that folk singer Mart Hoogkammer had previously written the song Spanish sun The duo will play a role in the documentary.
Bas and Aad van Toor last performed as Bassie & Adriaan in 2003. Aad van Toor was seriously ill at the time, but recovered. He now lives in Spain. Bas Van Toor continued to perform solo for years, until he had to stop in 2018 due to health problems. He suffers from an autoimmune disease and is no longer able to speak or move properly.
