Call of Duty is finally coming to Game Pass – Games – News

Microsoft will add the following Call of Duty games to Xbox Game Pass. This is evident from the notifications that users received via the Xbox Game Pass app. It is not known if older Call of Duty games will also be coming to Game Pass.

The notice says: “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass on day one later this year!” Users received the notification on both iOS and Android versions of the app. This is what journalist Tom Warren wrote in The Verge On social media. The notification is associated with URL, but it doesn’t work. This indicates that the notice was sent too early.

Earlier this month, The Wall Street Journal wrote that Microsoft plans to announce the news on June 9 during its annual Xbox Showcase. Microsoft will also tell more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 during the event the company announced last week.

It is not yet clear whether the game will be part of the monthly subscription or whether users will have to pay extra for it. It is also not yet known whether Microsoft will bring older Call of Duty games to Game Pass or if it is only for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

The British Competition and Markets Authority registered last year a report That Call of Duty will not appear on Game Pass until 2025. This report came after it became known that Microsoft wants to acquire Activision Blizzard. The Capital Markets Authority concluded in the report that Microsoft was forced to make several concessions.
