Bowers & Wilkins releases a successor to their PX7 headphones. The Px7 S2 once again features active noise cancellation, but is slightly smaller and lighter than the previous one. Wireless headphones use USB-C and do not have a 3.5mm jack.
According to the manufacturer, the PX7 S2 Battery life up to 30 hours. The headset replaces the PX7 and is built around new 40mm drivers. They are also the first headphones to work with the Bowers & Wilkins Music app. This allows you to adjust the equalizer settings, among other things. The headphones use Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive code for wireless audio over Bluetooth.
Bower & Wilkins is outfitting the Px7 S2 with replaceable memory foam ear cushions. The fit has also been improved according to the manufacturer. The headphones do not have a 3.5mm input, but a USB-C to 3.5mm cable is included. There are six microphones in the headset for active noise cancellation. According to the manufacturer, these microphones also ensure clear call quality.
The Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 is available immediately in gray, blue and black at a suggested retail price of €429. The brand will also release the Px8 later this year. According to the manufacturer, this is a new, high-quality model with “high-quality design, premium materials and beautiful sound.” The specifications of the Px8 are still unknown, but B&W already informs you that the headphones will cost 599 euros.
