Apple announced its new Beats Fit Pro. These wireless earbuds have “wing heads”, the Apple H1 chip, and active noise cancellation. The earplugs will appear in the US on November 5 for $200, and will be introduced in ‘other regions’ in 2022.

The Beats Fit Pro has been redesigned with IPX4 water resistance certification. Apple offers Beats Fit Pro earplugs with ‘wing tips’, which should ensure the earplugs stay better in users’ ears. These wing tips are integrated into the earplugs and are therefore not interchangeable. Apple claims itself The material of the wings is flexible enough to fit “any shape or size of ear”.

The manufacturer says that the Beats Fit Pro supports active noise cancellation. The earbuds also get Transparency mode and support for spatial surround sound. Beats Fit Pro offers up to six hours of battery life when Active Noise Cancellation or Transparency mode is turned on, Apple claims in a press release. The earbuds come with a charging case that extends the total battery life to 27 hours. Without active noise cancellation, the maximum battery life should be 30 hours. The case is charged via USB-C.

The earplugs also receive an Apple H1 chip, with which the Beats Fit Pro can easily be connected to iOS devices. Using the same chip, Beats Fit Pro can be automatically connected to various Apple products and synced with iCloud. iOS users can also use Apple’s Find My network to locate earbuds if they are lost. The earbuds also support Android; Users can download the Beats app to pair the earbuds, take a convenient test, and switch between different listening modes.
