Actress and singer Sally Kellerman, best known for her roles in films mash And the Back to schooldeceased. She was 84 years old.
After several guest roles in TV series, including in Star Trek In 1966, Kellerman became known as Major Margaret “Hot Lips” Houlihan in 1970 in the mashMovie adapted from the book Mash: A Novel about Three Doctors in the Army, which later became the popular series. Kellerman was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for her role as the lead nurses at the field hospital.
Kellerman continued to work into his old age. From 2014 to 2016 she had a role in the soap industry Youth and turmoil† It was one of her last roles in a web series Deckerwhere she played a parody of former first lady Hillary Clinton.
