American comedian Richard Lewis (76 years old) has died. He was a comedian but is best known for his role in the TV series Curb your enthusiasm In which he played for many years with Larry David.

Lewis got his start in the 1970s playing clubs in New York and later appeared on late night television shows such as David Letterman’s show. He made his film debut in the late 1980s Wrong men. He also played a leading role in sitcoms Anything but love And Daddy Aziz.

However, he is best known for his role in Curb your enthusiasm. From 2000 onwards he played a semi-fictionalized version of himself. He had the role of one of the best friends of the protagonist Larry David, whom he knew in real life since childhood.

Lewis was most recently on season 12 of the HBO series. Lewis was already ill at the time, and Lewis was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. In April of last year, he announced his retirement from comedy.

The comedian was known for his dark sense of humor and was nicknamed the “Prince of Pain.” He almost always dressed in black, and liked to make fun of his fears and sadness. Lewis died at his home in Los Angeles.
