Focus Entertainment is changing its name and will be called PulluP Entertainment as of April 2024. This is the second name change since September 2021; Before that the company was called Focus Home Interactive. Focus is the publisher of Warhammer, A Plague Tale, and more.

Part of the name change Company reorganization. The company is divided into three divisions, two of which are publishing subsidiaries. The first publishing branch includes the “historical publishing activities” of Focus Entertainment and will be called Focus Entertainment Publishing. The second publishing division will release independent and retrospective titles. This will include Dotemu Studios and The Arcade Crew. The third branch is called Studios by the company and includes developers: Deck13, Streumon, Twelve Tenths, Leikir Studio, Dovetail, Carpool Studio, and Blackmill. The latter is a Dutch studio that was acquired in 2022.

Effective April 1, these three branches will fall under a new “umbrella brand”: PulluP Entertainment. The emphasis does not indicate why this name was chosen and what name will be used in practice for the games. Shareholders still must approve the name change. The company says this reorganization should deliver greater growth and profitability.

Focus Entertainment had sales of €43.3 million last quarter, 43 percent lower than a year earlier. Looking at the first nine months of Focus’ fiscal year, the decline is smaller, 9 percent, compared to the previous year. Focus Entertainment generated sales of €128.3 million in the past nine months. The decline last quarter was mainly due to not releasing a major title, while Focus released A Plague Tale: Requiem and a Wicked Western a year earlier. As a result, there is a significant difference between the last quarter and the same quarter of the previous year.
