We previously shared that it looks like there might be a Squirtle Community Day make-over event and this has been publicly confirmed by Niantic Support. Now we have to admit that Niantic Support didn’t turn out to be the best resource, but it would only make sense in this case.

It is not known when the Squirtle Community Day makeup event will take place. It appears to only apply to players with a Pokémon Trainer Club account who were therefore unable to play during the last Squirtle Community Day.
