An 11-year-old elementary school student who stabbed a 9-year-old classmate in the back with scissors has been suspended from school. There is no final decision yet if misers will be allowed to visit the school again after the suspension.

Waterkant.Net learns that the accident victim had two stitches left. The suspect’s mother indicated that she would pay all costs.

According to the Suriname Police Force, the two boys got into a fight in class yesterday. At some point, the 11-year-old was stabbed in the back at the level of his buttocks with a blunt object (scissors, ed.).

After the act, the suspect fled home, but was taken back to school by his parents. The injured student was taken by ambulance to Paramaribo Academic Hospital’s emergency department.

After a stabbing was reported, Flora’s office police visited the relevant school in Flora Resort to conduct an investigation. The 11-year-old student was taken to the police station along with his parents.

After the boys’ parents made arrangements to pay for the medical costs, the suspect was allowed to go home with a serious warning.
