iFixit has released the promised spare parts for the Valve Steam Deck platform. iFixit stores in the US and UK recently listed an “offer” of spare parts with their prices. The listing has since been removed, but The Verge was able to download the list of products with prices in a timely manner. In addition to special repair kits, there should be a large selection of individual spare parts.
The published list includes replacement fans, amplifiers, D-diaphragms, thumbsticks and housing parts. Even a complete motherboard is for $350. The different screens are $65 and $95. Almost everything can be replaced. Only the metal frame and battery are not mentioned in the listing. There is a solution in the works for the latter.
