MAME 0.267:

Today is the release day for MAME 0.267, the mid-year release. This month, we have the all-new Z80 CPU core. This will help us support more Z80-like CPUs and will also allow for more precise control over bus timing. Speaking of CPU emulation, there are some great fixes for the old Motorola 68k floating point unit bug. These are especially noticeable in classic Mac applications when it comes to trigonometry, but they also help some arcade systems.

The Tomy Prin-C children’s sticker design system has come to life this month, with video inputs and outputs, and enough bug fixes to the Fujitsu F2MC-16 CPU to run the software. The printer isn’t emulated, but you can still enjoy the experience of this unique system. If you want something a little more advanced, some DMA fixes allow MIPS-based Sony NEWS workstations to run the previous version of NEWS-OS 4.1R, and there’s a new software menu with installation media to get you started.

Of course, there are much more improvements in this version than we can list here, but you can read about all the exciting updates in Whatsnew.txt file.
