Rajon Rondo is being considered for a coaching role under the new high commissioner

Former NBA guard Rajon Rondo is being considered for a spot on the Los Angeles Lakers’ new coaching staff.

“Rumors about the Lakers’ recruiting plans have spread around the league over the past two weeks, with some of the most popular names mentioned including former head coach Scott Brooks and assistants Sam Cassel and Jared Dudley. However, New Orleans Pelicans assistant (and former Orlando Magic and Charlotte Hornets coach) James Borrego is also in the mix. Borrego interviewed with the Lakers on Wednesday, Woike reported.

Redick and Rondo were never teammates, but the two got along, as evidenced by the latter’s appearance on the former’s podcast.



More importantly, Rondo and Lakers star LeBron James were teammates on the aforementioned 2020 title team. James and Riddick are podcast partners Take an interest in the game.
