These types of monitors have Nvidia’s own chip, and unlike older G-sync monitors, the PG27AQNR’s motion blur reduction feature can be used with a variable refresh rate, which Nvidia calls “Pulsar” for non-G-Sync monitors. This feature has been available for some time, including from ASUS itself.

The PG27AQNR has DisplayPort 1.4, dual HDMI, and a USB port that can be used for firmware updates. There’s no word yet on more picture features, such as color gamut and HDR support. There’s also no pricing for the PG27AQNR yet and a release date of Q4 2024.
