ASRock Shows First Slim Mini-ITX Motherboard for AM5 Socket Mini PCs – Computer – News

ASRock has released its first Thin Mini-ITX motherboard with AM5 socket. These motherboards are suitable for small computers. The X600TM-ITX model supports 96GB DDR5 SODIMM memory, but there is no PCIe connection.

Asrock says so X600TM-ITX It is the first Thin-ITX motherboard to support AM5 sockets for AMD CPUs. The model supports Ryzen 7000 and 8000 processors up to 65W. The board also has support for Intel CPU coolers.

The motherboard can accommodate up to 96GB of DDR5-6400 memory, in the form of two SO-DIMMs. Furthermore, the model does not have a PCIe socket for the graphics, but it does have two M.2 sockets that users could theoretically use an adapter for. There is also room for two 2.5-inch drives via SATA connections.

The X600TM-ITX features a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port and a Type-C port, as well as two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports. ASRock says that users can take the motherboard in multiple configurations. For example, they can adapt one of the HDMI ports to a block that contains an HDMI port and a DisplayPort port. It is also possible to install an additional Dash LAN port or a TPM 2.0 module on the motherboard.

It is not yet known how much the motherboard will cost. It is also not yet known when it will be released, and if so, whether it will be in the Netherlands.
