NZXT H6 Flow with and without RGB revision

  • NZXT H6 streaming
  • NZXT H6 RGB Flow

In summary

The H6 Flow features glass panels on the sides and front. It’s also not separated by a metal pole, giving you an almost unobstructed view of your devices. The sloping front makes the case more distinctive and NZXT has installed three 120mm fans in that slanted portion aimed at the video card and other hardware. The housing combines good cooling with little noise and a reasonable price. It’s a pity that you can’t display your video card vertically.

In summary

The H6 Flow RGB only differs from the H6 Flow in terms of the built-in fans. The RGB version also stands out for its glass panels on the sides and front. It’s also not separated by a metal pole, giving you an almost unobstructed view of your devices. The sloping front makes the case even more distinctive, and in this sloping part, NZXT has installed three 120mm fans with addressable RGB lighting aimed at the video card and other devices. The housing combines good cooling with little noise and a reasonable price. It’s a pity that you can’t display your video card vertically.

NZXT has been an indispensable part of the top ten containers for years. With the launch of the H7 Flow in May 2022, the mid-tower replaced the H510 and H510 Flow as NZXT’s permanent representative in Pricewatch’s top 10 list. The H7 variants formed a nice middle ground between the larger H9 series and the slightly smaller H5 cabinets. With the H6 series there is a model, or rather, two models. In terms of size, the H6 Flow and H6 Flow RGB are slightly smaller than the H7 and slightly larger than the H5.

Why would you want to cram another model between two popular series? This is partly due to looks, because the H6 follows the trend of more glass in cases, to be exact, twice as much glass as the H5 and H7. The H6 not only has a glass panel on the side, as usual, but also a smaller panel on the front. These panels are flush with each other without metal columns in between. This makes the H6 more comparable to the H9 cabinets, which are also equipped with double glazing, with no jamb between them. This immediately explains the location of H6; In fact, the H9 is smaller and less comparable to the H7 or H5.

Currently, there are two variants of the H6 available: H6 Flow and H6 Flow RGB. The “regular” H6 is missing, as is the H7, and the Elite version we know of the H5 and H9 has not yet been released. The H6 Flow and H6 Flow RGB both come with three fans, but not surprisingly the RGB has three 120mm RGB fans. The regular flow system is equipped with three 120mm fans without lighting. Both cabinets can be purchased in black or white and cost around €120 for the H6 Flow and €145 for the H6 Flow RGB. We tested both options and compared the results with other NZXT safes and its competitors.
