Valve is launching an OLED version of the Steam Deck. The screen supports HDR technology, a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, and is slightly larger at 7.4 inches. The company is launching two models with 512GB and 1TB storage capacities, which can be ordered starting November 16.
Just like the LCD version, the screen offers a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. With HDR content, a maximum brightness of 1000 nits can be achieved, otherwise the peak brightness is 600 nits. The SDR display of the previous version has a brightness of up to 400 nits. In addition, a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz can be achieved, in contrast to the maximum 60Hz of LCD versions.

The previous version’s 40-watt-hour battery provides two to eight hours of playtime, according to the manufacturer. Two OLED models will be available: one with a 512GB NVDE SSD and the other with 1TB of storage. These cost 569 and 679 euros respectively.
