Rumor: Qualcomm Snapdragon

Qualcomm is said to be working on a SoC for the PC called Snapdragon X Elite. The SoC will be equipped with Oryon cores and use a 4nm process. It is possible that the processor will be launched on the market in mid-2024.

Which Writes a Windows report Based on possible leaked marketing images from Qualcomm. The company recently announced the Snapdragon In the images, Qualcomm appears to be claiming that the SoC with twelve Oryon performance cores is twice as fast as competing x86 SoCs. The CPU appears to only have twelve performance cores and no power saving cores. The cores have a base clock speed of 3.8 GHz and a boost clock speed of 4.3 GHz.

The little-known Adreno GPU with 4.6Tflops computing power should also provide a 2x faster GPU. In addition to Wi-Fi 7, the SoC will also support 5G and Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon X Elite uses only a third of the power compared to competing x86 CPUs. Since these are alleged marketing images and the company has not made a concrete comparison, the information should be taken with a grain of salt.
