It looks like Sapphire is ready to release an unannounced Radeon RX 6700 desktop graphics card soon. That’s what Cowcotland’s tech website claims. This card will have 10GB of memory and fewer compute units than the Radeon RX 6700 XT. It was supposed to be released on June 9.
Cowcotland publishes photos of the alleged Sapphire Radeon RX 6700 models. The manufacturer appears to be inventing a variant in the Pulse series, among other things. Another image shows an as yet unnamed model. According to the French technology website, the card will have a Navi 22 GPU with 36 compute units, the equivalent of 2304 stream processors. For example, the top-positioned RX 6700 XT has 40 cu m with a total of 2,560 stream processors.
So the Radeon RX 6700 will have the same configuration as the RX 6700M for laptops. The card will have 10GB of GDDR6 memory and 16Gbit/s speed. So the bus width is 160 bits for the 320GB/s memory bandwidth. Cowcotland also talks about a 2330MHz game clock with a boost frequency of 2495MHz. Both Sapphire models have an 8-pin power supply connection. However, the site does not mention tdp.
According to Cowcotland, the two video cards will be released on Thursday, June 9. There is talk of a selling price of 569 euros.
