Windows 10 Beta Includes New Account Button With Fewer User Options – Computer – News

I joined the discussion that started:

This makes me restless. What weird things will Microsoft do if Windows 10 is no longer supported?

General comment, nice, insulting and lecture.

Hmm, I didn’t mean it that way at all. I’m just pointing out how everyone feels differently about this. I’m responding to a comment that literally says “I have no idea, but I won’t worry about it until the time comes.” I’m offering an opposing viewpoint, hence the comment. Nothing is meant to be a lesson at all, everyone has their own approach.

Nice and clear killer.

Yes, that’s what my whole comment is about? Then I point out that waiting is not good, so act in advance.

My argument was yes, it is possible that Windows 11 could modify its system requirements, but you don’t want to take the risk. (He literally says: But this is just speculation and a big risk, especially within the company. So you’ve already verified your comment in advance?

If you start waiting for a possible change in system requirements, your business operations will of course not be healthy at all.
Furthermore, it seems that you are running on somewhat old systems.

I don’t really understand this point. We seem to have the same opinion and people are discussing my opinion. :|

My point may not have been clear, but I meant this specifically:

My argument specifically was: prevention is better than cure. So, avoid potential actions from MS if WIN10 is EOL, so be prepared in advance by upgrading to WIN 11 where possible, if you are not replacing the hardware.

So I personally think it’s not wise to wait. I’m not forcing anyone, I’m just expressing my vision and opinion. As a consumer, you can actually wait and see if MS might do something about the WIN11 system requirements (given the e-waste debate) and/or maybe support older systems. Then I point out the company’s point of view that waiting for that here is not wise.
