Valve Tests New Sorting System to Get Helpful Reviews – IT – News

Because the current system has any effect on “review bombs”?

The big difference with or without this system is that they leave a copy and paste and then you complain about it.

The fact that you see every review as review bombing is a “you” problem, because I want to give my opinion in an adult way via a rating system or “thumbs up/down” system about whether I like a game or not, so that my team of friends can do the same while they browse my list of games. Right now they only see a review for Baldur’s Gate 3 and I’m left with nothing with the rest. People who write an entire book about every game will continue to exist no matter what, and people who want to “review bomb” will do so regardless of whether they have to post memes/copypasta or not.

In cases such as Hell Divers 2 If I’m happy with the reviewbombing, I’ll see a graph: “Hey, what’s this on May 2, 2024?” https://i.imgur.com/7FxTRbD.png

Then when I click on the same bar, I’m the first to see this review with the most useful first:

Hey, how great that Reviewbombing has informed me of a game where I can now make an informed decision about whether or not to get one. I also have the option to look deeper into whether or not this issue is still an issue, and based on player numbers, see if the game is still “alive”.

if consumer So I see the point of people bombarding me with reviews, it gives me a chance to see if there are issues with a game that could prevent me from enjoying the same game, and this wouldn’t be the first time a developer has taken a direction that the player base isn’t looking for. I see it as a warning, or a red flag if there’s a big red bar in between. If you set the ratings to “most helpful,” you’ll immediately see why there’s a big bar.
