The supply of new cars in the compact class is rapidly decreasing. Anyone who really wants to drive such a car has to increasingly rely on “used youth”, or in the language of “severed head”. The first (most expensive!) Kilometer of the car has been covered, but it is still as good as new. This is also the case in the case of the Nissan Micra.

The range of used cars is huge. You can find used cars at reasonable prices everywhere at the dealership, on Gaspedal.nl and even on Facebook. Autovisie selects the top three used cars in their category every week.

Nissan Micra (2017 – 2024)

It’s a shame that the last generation Micra is no longer available and not because there are no satisfied Micra drivers! On the outside, the Micra has some nice details, such as the “hidden” rear door handles. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine is better than the previous 0.9-litre. Most Micra drivers are happy with the 68kW/92hp this engine produces and will enthusiastically report that the car achieves 1 in 18.

The Nissan Micra is maneuverable, has excellent roadholding and the interior finish is very elegant for a used car in this class. The Nissan dealer in Heerlen has one of the last examples, probably his own test car (?) (2024, 9500 km), the Asenta, for 19,945 euros. That’s about three thousand less than the new price.

You should pay attention to this when buying a used car.

It’s almost boring when it comes to Japanese muscle cars. Yes, there was something strange about the diesel engines available in the first Micra of this series. Okay, but who drives such a compact car with a diesel engine?

This sounds like nitpicking, but there is simply not a single flaw that occasionally occurs with this generation of Micra. I’ll say it again: you realize how nice it is to drive a very reliable car when you hear from others that they have had bad luck again.
