These roads are closed due to the Tilburg Fair.

It won’t be long before the centre of Tilburg turns into a large fairground. This means you can’t enter the centre with your car, scooter, bicycle, moped or tricycle. Which roads exactly are closed before and during the Tilburg Fair? You can read about them here.

Tilburg Fair from Friday 19th to Sunday 28th July. But these attractions do not grow like mushrooms from one day to the next. That is why many roads will be closed from noon on Tuesday 16th July. On the days following the fair, the streets will also remain closed until the attractions can be safely dismantled.

  • Besterdring: From NS-plein to Besterdplein. You can cross via Johannes van Oisterwijkstraat, where there are traffic controllers.
  • Both routes from NS Square between Spoorlaan and Besterdring to Schaepmanstraat.
  • North side and parking at NS Square. You have no access from Koestraat.
  • Burgemeester Brokxlaan from NS Square to Tilburg station.

What other roads are closed?

We’re not there yet. Other streets are closed at different times. For example, part of the Spoorlaan (between the Tivoli garage and the intersection with the Heuvelring and NS Square) will be closed from Sunday, July 14 at 6 p.m. The other part of the Spoorlaan – between Magazijnstraat and the intersection – will be closed from Wednesday, July 17. Both parts will open again on Wednesday, July 31 at 12 p.m.

How will you turn around later?

Due to the closure of the Besterdring, the municipality of Tilburg offers a different route. Traffic is diverted via Veldhovenring, Groeseindstraat, Hoefstraat and Wagenaarsstraat to Ringbaan-Oost.
