These cheap wireless headphones have a battery life of up to 90 hours

Deze goedkope draadloze koptelefoon heeft een batterijduur van 90 uur

Sony’s popular headphones, the WH-1000XM5, have a good battery life of up to 30 hours with active noise cancellation turned off. But the new ATH-S300BT from competitor Audio-Technica takes at least three times as long to unpack.

Through admiration 90 hours of playing time Noise cancellation in new headphones should also be turned off. If you want to use it, you still have 60 hours of battery life left. On a single charge, you can easily last a week, even if you listen for a very long time every day.

If the ATH-S300BT runs out of power, you can listen for an additional 2.5 hours after just three minutes of charging via USB-C.

Powerful sound and transparency mode

The headphones should deliver powerful sound through their 40mm drivers and should bring out a lot of detail in the sound. In addition to the existing noise cancellation, the headphones also have a transparency mode. There is also a low latency mode for gamers.

With the multipoint feature you can connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time. The manufacturer does not mention support for aptX HD or other high-quality audio codecs. This headset relies mainly on battery life.

Audio-Technica headphones can not only be connected via Bluetooth, but also used wired. Both the headphones and the included cable have a microphone for making calls.

The ATH-S300BT is available in black or pink for €119. This puts this speaker from Audio-Technica in a lower price range than the Sony WH-1000XM5 and the new Sonos Ace.
