Stephen Colbert, 60, has some advice for presidential candidate Donald Trump, 78. The late-night host said on his show that if Trump wants to get the same level of recognition as his former rival Joe Biden, 81, he should also drop out.

“If you really want to draw attention to yourself, all you have to do is withdraw.”

Stephen argued Tuesday that Biden’s withdrawal was a good decision. “It was a good decision for the Democrats because Trump seems to find it annoying,” Stephen said. He cited several examples, including Trump’s failure to understand the praise Biden received after he withdrew. Stephen then advised Trump to follow Biden’s lead.

The comedian understands why Trump finds it so upsetting that Biden has dropped out of the race. “Because he doesn’t have a good attack on Harris. The best thing he has so far is this weird nickname he used a few weeks ago,” Stephen says, referring to the nickname “Lavin Kamala.”

Stephen ended his speech with a powerful message for Trump: “If you really want to draw attention to yourself, all you have to do is withdraw. Just imagine, just imagine how angry the Democrats would be.”

After the attempted assassination of Trump, explosives were found in the shooter’s car and home. Jermaine Ellenkamp tells us more about this.
