Personally, I think that uncovered onions are very old. So onions are far from stained by, for example, soaps.
Just try using the docker tab on your mobile. The whole browser often crashes if you have about 20 containers (which also happens if you resize the window on desktop).
The whole unraid frontend suite is very old (still jquery, yay) and it works but has these kinds of quirks.
It is also preferable to use PHP as a backend language for the web GUI rather than wmb. The entire web GUI is very old and actually needs a complete rewrite in more modern frameworks like wmb. For example, if you update the containers, you can’t do anything else in the GUI, and there is no support at all for handling multiple concurrent requests (this is one example of this behavior, and it happens in other scenarios as well).
However, the rest under the hood is in good shape, it’s really the web GUI that needs a little more love.

I also think the requirement to run from a USB drive is a weak point. Their licensing model is based on this, so it’s somewhat understandable that this is still the case.
Wmb is less of a priority than gare webui but definitely something to consider.

See Hyksos already mentioned below. If a great interface is what you’re looking for, you can also check out CasaOs. It’s brand new, offers almost no unraid features, but it looks really good.
