Rumor: Google Pixel 9 Series Pricing Announced – Tablets & Phones – News

There’s no need to treat me like a lunatic.

I bought my Pixel 6pro and Pixel 7 pro within the first month of their release, and if you had looked beyond your nose you would have found a lot of information online about the initial problems with the devices.

Additionally, I am very familiar with Pixel phones and have owned almost all of them as well as almost all of the Nexus devices. I have often been involved in rooting and customization and really understand how Android works and the new battery intelligence.

I haven’t used social media in 10 years, so my most commonly used apps were mainly WhatsApp, web browsing, third-party Reddit, a camera app, email, and some Google Maps for work. I had just gotten an Odido (T-Mobile), which at the time was known to have the best signal in the Netherlands. What was particularly problematic about the signal was that once it dropped and disconnected, it didn’t come back right away, and 9 times out of 10 it took a reboot to recover.

The heat became a problem because the phone would charge slower when I really needed it. It was almost empty before 5am, often below 10%.

I also tried everything, apps that don’t allow background data or setting battery mode to limited battery drain. Screen with or without auto brightness didn’t do much, I tried all the known battery tricks from Google and xdaforums erbii, and started reddit threads or reading if there was anything that could be done about most of the issues. For example, learning the same finger twice didn’t do much.

I consider the Pixel 2 XL and Nexus 6P to be among the best Google phones. I used them until they either completely fell apart or the battery swelled.

That’s why I think it’s a shame that I can no longer rely on Google with Pixel phones because I’m really a big fan of the Pixel Android experience and the best cameras. :'(
