Quinty Trustfall, 52, rarely makes a mistake with her outfit choices. However, there have been a number of moments in recent years when the presenter has found herself scratching her head or even feeling embarrassed to death. In ‘Libelle’ she opens up about what she considers her most embarrassing fashion mistakes.

“I’m not exaggerating when I say you’ve really seen it all.”

Fifteen years ago, she stood in a bright pink dress at the Pink Ribbon Gala. The presenter felt she looked beautiful. “When I tried the dress on in front of the mirror at home, it fit beautifully.” Unfortunately, she gradually discovered that the dress didn’t look right. She had to constantly lift it up, but she didn’t notice much harm in it. That is until she suddenly saw pictures of the event in magazines. “I was terrified. The dress started to sag, causing my breasts to fall and flatten out.” The result, according to Quinty, was “teabags.” “It didn’t look pretty,” she concluded. However, this blunder was small compared to the dress. Another outfit.

During an event at the Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin in Noordwijk, Quinte wore a dress that was so tight that she couldn’t wear a bra underneath. “I felt great and stood out during an unforgettable sunset,” she recalls. The next day, Quinte was very curious about the photos, but after a call from photographer Edwin Smulders she understood why the shots never saw the light of day…

“He didn’t intend to publish the pictures. Because as it turned out, the dress shone so brightly in the light. I’m not exaggerating when I say you really saw everything. So I stood there almost naked to the eyes of everyone present.”
