Now, he says, Ashbon will immediately end his cooperation with Shima. “This situation is unacceptable to us as consultants, since Ms. Kays made this proposal behind our backs, knowing that we would never agree to it,” Ashbon wrote in a statement.

According to Ashboun, Shima also has a debt of 125,000 euros owed by his law firm. ‘This relates to our service fees. Under these circumstances, we as consultants cannot continue our work for Ms. Kayes.

Shima and Johnny have been at odds for a long time. Shima filed a report against her ex-fiancé for abuse in Ibiza in 2015. This allegedly happened after a wedding on the Spanish island, attended by the De Mol family. Shima claims Johnny abused her there.

The incident in Ibiza had previously been investigated by Dutch police. The public prosecutor concluded in 2022 that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Johnny. The case was therefore dismissed.

Yesterday it was announced that the Spanish judicial system has taken this case into consideration. At the moment, this is just an investigation, and Johnny is not yet a suspect. It is also questionable whether Johnny can be tried in Spain. Under international law, suspects cannot be tried twice for the same crime.
