HYTE Introduces 360mm AIO Water Cooler with 5-Inch Display on CPU Cooling Block – Computer – News

HYTE presents the Thicc Q80 Trio Water Cooler. This is based on the existing Thicc Q60 cooler, but has a larger 360mm diameter radiator. The cooler again has a screen on top of the CPU cooling block. A cheaper 240mm water cooler also comes with it.

HYTE supplies the Thicc Q80 Trio with a 52 mm thick cooler, as confirmed by the manufacturer In a press release. The cooler also has new built-in Thicc FP12 Trio fans. Instead of three separate 120mm fans, the fans in the FP12 Trio are integrated into a single frame. HYTE also claims that the cold plate used has higher fin coverage. This would lower CPU temperatures by “up to 2 degrees Celsius more”, although the manufacturer has not proven this in a concrete testing way.

The Thicc Q60 Trio also has a 5-inch IPS display, just like the previous Thicc Q60. This display integrates with HYTE’s Nexus software and can be used, among other things, to display system information or your video images. It has RGB LEDs, which can also be controlled via HYTE Nexus software.

Moreover, HYTE is showcasing a new 240mm water cooler. The Thicc P60 Duo does not have an IPS display and will therefore be cheaper than the Q60. This cooler comes with two 120mm fans, which are again integrated into a single frame. The cooling block is equipped with several RGB LEDs. The said fan frames will also be available separately, in 240mm and 360mm sizes in black and white.

HYTE expects to launch the Thicc Q80 Trio in August, followed by the Thicc P60 Duo in September. The FP120 Duo and Trio fans will also be launched in August. The manufacturer has not yet shared recommended prices for concrete.
