The company reports that this new Intel version can also be equipped with an optional 13.5-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2280 x 1920 pixels. The previous version only came with a 60 Hz screen with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels. The new screen has a brightness of 500 cd / m² and has a matte surface against reflections. This new screen can also be equipped with the AMD version of the laptop 13; This variant also has a larger 61 Wh battery, instead of the 52 Wh in the base model. It will also be available separately for €299, so users can upgrade their previously purchased Framework laptop.

Framework also introduces a new second-generation webcam module. This is equipped with a 9.2-megapixel sensor, although the manufacturer has chosen not to use full resolution. Framework has also reduced the recommended retail price of the entry-level AMD model from €979 to €909. This is for a DIY variant without built-in DDR5 memory and without an SSD.
