The new model will be delivered from August and the recommended retail price will be €1,029. This concerns a DIY model without RAM or SSD. The ready-made version with 8 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD costs 1,249 euros. Motherboards with Intel Core Ultra processors will also be available separately for users who want to upgrade their existing laptops.

The company reports that this new Intel version can also be equipped with an optional 13.5-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2280 x 1920 pixels. The previous version only came with a 60 Hz screen with a resolution of 2256 x 1504 pixels. The new screen has a brightness of 500 cd / m² and has a matte surface against reflections. This new screen can also be equipped with the AMD version of the laptop 13; This variant also has a larger 61 Wh battery, instead of the 52 Wh in the base model. It will also be available separately for €299, so users can upgrade their previously purchased Framework laptop.

Framework also introduces a new second-generation webcam module. This is equipped with a 9.2-megapixel sensor, although the manufacturer has chosen not to use full resolution.
