In idyllic Scotland, Robert Gunn has truly found peace after a serious illness. The only thing he misses is a nice woman by his side. After all the registrations he has made his choice and one of them is Els. She is on her way to the rainy north of Great Britain. “I will be 59 this year and I am too young and too nice to be alone, so yes,” she explains of her search for love.

She was immediately impressed by Robert Jan’s sense of humor and hospitality in the proposal video. “He has a beautiful voice and is also warm. I think he is a very special man.” Els is not worried about the competition. “Then all these ladies can go through at once, but there is only one. Who else? Moi!She jokes, pointing to herself.

“Here it is,” Else exclaims as Robert Jan opens the door for her. “This is a surprise,” he says. It’s easy to guess her first impression of Robert Jan. “This is not nice…this is very nice!” She laughs into the camera. “That’s the first thing I think.”

When Robert helps Jan unpack her bags from the car, he notices that Else has brought a large amount of luggage. The program is called: I stay“Jokes Els. Robert Jan is also a fan of the cheerful love filter. “The Vibration Good. I’m contributing to that too. And if you can do it together, things can go fast.”

Els laughs constantly during her interview with Robert Jan. There’s a reason for that. “When I’m nervous, I either laugh or I talk a little louder,” she explains. “Flirting? Yeah, I don’t know. I love it.” Robert Jan loves that Els instantly lights up a lot. “You look for that energy and it just explodes. That was definitely good. Very good.”

As Else settles into her new home, she slowly recovers from her nerves. “My heart is pounding in my throat with excitement, with the release. I’m really enjoying it. I think he’s a really nice guy,” she admits to the camera with a laugh. “I hope he says the same about me. Okay, the gate will be closed, the door will be locked, and then we’ll spend the whole winter here with the two of us and the dog.”

Robert Jan clearly makes a huge impression on Else. “A handsome man, tall, dark-haired, charismatic, I love clothes, so I don’t wear anything anymore.” And she wants to tell him that by the end of the day. “You’re a very nice guy,” she says bluntly. “Do you think I’m a nice guy? I think you’re a nice woman,” he replies. “What I see is that she’s looking for closeness,” he turns to the camera later. “I just take a moment to stand a little closer. That’s beautiful.”

Els brought all sorts of Dutch delicacies from Holland, including XXL smoked sausages. “That’s the height,” Robert Jan said. “It’s fun to make those jokes,” he said of his quirky comment. “You have to tease each other a little bit, as we say. That sets the tone.”

And so the day ends happily and full of laughter. Whether it will remain this fun or whether the two will soon lose their laughter, you will see every day from Monday to Thursday. B&B full of love 8.30pm on RTL 4. In Videoland, you look back and forward.
