Millions of viewers are sitting on the sofa on Monday evening with the remote control in hand, ready for the new season of B&B Vol Liefde. The RTL TV show, in which bed and breakfast owners look for love, has been a real hit. How are former Brabant participants Marianne and Olof doing and how do they view their participation?
Marianne from Den Bosch was seen last year at B&B Vol Liefde. She has welcomed many nice men, including Olof from Voet, to her luxurious home in Portugal. None of the gentlemen have managed to win the heart of 70-year-old Marianne, but she is currently madly in love with Ronald. “He is 14 years younger, but that is not a stumbling block in our case,” she previously told De Telegraaf. “He is a caring man who gives me a lot of love.”
She has now traded her beautiful villa in the Algarve for Den Bosch. Presenter Art Rooijakkers visited the blonde for the reunion broadcast of B&B Vol Liefde and was warmly welcomed by the radiant Marianne and her friend. A little while later there was another big surprise when the doorbell rang. Candidates Olof, Jan and Ed were standing at the door to take a shower in the pool. Lady of Power I wish her all the best with her new love.
“I’m exactly the same Olof as I was before the show.”
Audience favorite Olof did not win Marianne’s heart, but he did win another woman’s heart. On Omroep Brabant’s radio show KEIgoeiemorgen on Monday, he said that he was having a great time with his girlfriend Margje. And of course he will also be watching the new season of B&B Vol Liefde on Monday evening. “Of course I look at it differently than most Dutch people. I’ve already seen a few short clips. I think Anja is a hot aunt in France.”
B&B Vol Liefde has been a successful RTL show for years. The dating show attracts millions of viewers and many of the former participants can no longer walk normally.

Looking back on his own involvement, Olof believes he has remained completely himself. “I haven’t become a different person,” he says. “I’m exactly the same Olof I was before the show. You have to keep your feet on the ground.” Despite his sobriety, the show has had an impact on Olof. “You enter a completely different world. A media world you don’t know.”
Olof had to laugh when he got a call some time ago from casting agency B&B Vol Liefde. “These girls called me to ask if I wanted to be in the new season. I thought that was special. I told them to take a good look at their reunion episode, because then you’ll see that I have a new girlfriend,” he laughs. “Then they called later and said that they hadn’t been paying close attention to it.”
