Acer announces three OLED screens and two screens with Google TV – Computer – News

On the eve of Computex, Acer introduced five new monitors. Three of them have an OLED panel: a 27-inch 1440p display, a 32-inch 4K display, and a 34-inch curved 3440 x 1440 display. The other two come with Google TV.

All three OLED displays use new OLED panels from LG Display and Samsung, which we’ve already seen at CES from several other manufacturers. The Predator supports the DCI-P3 AMD FreeSync Premium Pro color space, has Nvidia G-Sync compatible certification, and the 27-inch monitor can be connected via DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C (90W), or either. 2.1 Ports. The Predator X27U F3 will be available in the third quarter and will cost 1,199 euros.

In addition, Acer is also showing off two displays that will be equipped with Google TV; The mainstream consumer-oriented DA1 and the gaming-oriented Nitro GA1. In our first tests shortly after the announcement, the operating system ran relatively smoothly; Opening the YouTube app was so fast that the loading bar did not fill up completely.

Both displays will be available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, are ergonomically adjustable, and have an HDMI 2.0 port, a DP 1.4 connection, and a USB-C port that can charge a 65-watt laptop. The DA1 has a 4K VA panel with a 60Hz refresh rate, while the Nitro GA1 has a 1440p panel that can reach up to 180Hz when connected via DisplayPort. Depending on the image size, Acer uses IPS or VA technology for the Nitro version. All Google TV displays from Acer will launch in the fourth quarter. For the 27-inch versions, you pay €299, while the 32-inch versions cost €349. There is no difference in price between the screens. So you can choose the design and feature set you prefer.
