An Air India Boeing 777-200 aircraft landed at Krasnoyarsk Airport (Russia) last Thursday.
The aircraft, registration VT-ALG, took off from Delhi, India en route to San Francisco (USA) as AI183. Air India is one of the few international airlines still permitted, capable and willing to fly over Russia despite sanctions imposed in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. During the flight, the crew noticed a possible problem with the cargo hold. According to Krasnoyarsk Airport, this will be activated fire detection.
