Six people found dead in Bangkok hotel

Four Vietnamese and two Vietnamese-Americans were found dead in a hotel in the Thai capital, Bangkok. Local police suspect they died from cyanide poisoning. Police say they may have been murdered.

Hotel staff found the first victim outside the hotel room, before discovering five others inside the room. It’s about three men and three women who all checked in at different times. It’s unclear what their relationship is.

Local police believe the victims had been dead for 24 hours when they were found..

Mouth foam

They were found foaming at the mouth. Their bags were at the door. The police found no trace of them. By theft or physical confrontation.

The hotel room still contained untouched food ordered from room service by the victims. Coffee and tea were on the table, still drunk.

Media initially reported a shooting incident, but local authorities soon corrected this. Thai Prime Minister Tavisin has launched an investigation into the cause of death.
